Privacy
Quick Pantry is maintained by James Quick and hosted on Cloudflare. Your recipes, ingredients, orders, and meal plans are private to your account.
Account and browser sessions
Better Auth manages email/password and Google sign-in. Account information includes your name, email address, and sign-in records. Passwords used for email/password sign-in are stored as hashes.
Browser cookies and session records support sign-in and app use. Browser storage also remembers your theme preference. Account records and app data are stored using Cloudflare services.
Recipe imports and search
When you import a recipe URL, Quick Pantry fetches content from that recipe site. When photo import is available, the photo you provide is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to extract recipe information.
Saved recipes are uploaded to Cloudflare AI Search for semantic indexing. Search filters results to your account. Semantic search availability can vary; title matching is the fallback.
Connections to AI clients
An MCP connection lets your chosen AI client request data and actions for your account. With your OAuth grant, supported tools can search and read recipes, create or edit recipes, import a recipe URL, and replace a weekly meal plan. Tool results pass to the connected AI client, whose own privacy terms apply to the data it receives.
You can revoke OAuth connections and MCP keys from Profile.
Diagnostic information
The application records diagnostic logs for errors and AI requests. These can include error details, request outcomes, duration, and token usage.
